Twins Loss against Facebook and being called A**hole by Larry Summers (Video)

The twins last month announced that they are pushing ahead with another suit against Facebook, a day after they decided not to appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court a ruling upholding their $65 million settlement with Facebook and its founder Mark Zuckerberg.
U.S. District Judge Douglas Woodlock in Boston dismissed the case on Friday, one month after the Winklevosses abandoned a possible appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court of an April ruling against them by a California federal appeals court.

Well that is not all that is going on in the Winklevoss twins life. Apparently they want to slam Larry Summer for his A**hole remark.

Larry Summers had said that the Winklevoss twins, who famously marched into his office and complained that Mark Zuckerberg had stolen their idea for Facebook when he was Harvard president, are 'a**holes'.

Summers said during an interview at the Brainstorm Tech conference.  "One of the things you learn as a college president is that if an undergraduate is wearing a tie and jacket on Thursday afternoon at three o'clock, there are two possibilities. One is that they're looking for a job and have an interview; the other is that they are an asshole. This was the latter case. Rarely, have I encountered such swagger, and I tried to respond in kind."

The Winklevoss brothers, together with Divya Narendra, co-founder of HarvardConnection, have released an official response to Larry Summers' "asshole" remark, which he directed at the Harvard alums because of their stiff formal attire when they met with him as undergraduates.

In a three-page open letter dated July 21, addressed to current Harvard President Drew Faust, the Winklevoss brothers and Narendra explain why they take issue with Summers' remarks:

It is deeply disturbing that a professor of this university openly admits to making character judgments based on their appearance. It goes without saying that every student should feel free to bring issues forward, dress how they see fit, or express themselves without fear of prejudice or public disparagement from a fellow member of the community, much less so from a faculty member," the twins wrote.

The Latter also includes a synopsis of their meeting with Summer in 2004 and one can clearly see the similarities between that and the scenes depicted in 'The Social Network'.

In the last paragraph of the Letter the twins wrote "As the current President, we respectfully ask for you to address this unprecedented betrayal of the unique relationship between teacher and student."
